ESCALATOR CLEANING WITH THE RF 40

AUTOMATIC, EFFICIENT ESCALATOR CLEANING: STEP BY STEP
Conventional floor cleaning machines are not capable of meeting the demands of escalator cleaning. The RF 40 is designed in such a way that it optimally cleans both the treads and the risers of an escalator quickly and efficiently. To clean the treads, the unit is placed at the lower end of the ascending escalator on the ground level and slowly moved from right to left and back again. The RF 40 is left in this position so that the steps alternate automatically and are all gradually cleaned.
Additionally, the machine can be set up to automatically clean the escalator treads. In this case, the escalator cleaning machine moves automatically from one side to the other. To clean the risers, the escalator is switched off and the vertical surfaces can be easily cleaned, step by step. This cleaning machine can also wash moving walkways with ease.

In addition to the RF 40, we have also developed the RF 40 light escalator cleaning machine for easy escalator step cleaning. This model works in exactly the same way as the original; however, riser cleaning is not possible with this machine. Both models are easy to transport, easy to use and boast a short setup time.
