Increased sales thanks to clean salesrooms

The fact that a general appearance is enhanced and improved through cleanness is not just a question offree aesthetics. "The first impression that a customer gains from stores like ours is the cleanness andorderliness of the salesroom," claims Karin Büchler, the owner of a retail cash-and-carry drinks store in Rosenheim-Kolbermoor. Following extensive conversion work the store was extended to an area of over 500 m² and can now beseen in a new friendly design. Customers can choose from a wide range of over 300 different products. Inaddition, the wholesale department successfully serves trade customers, restaurants and bars.Precision surveys and analyses show that consumers draw conclusions on the quality of the products thata company offers from the cleanness. There is also evidence that clean, well-looked after floors encouragemore spontaneous purchases.
The salesrooms must be free of dust so that nothing can settle on the goods
During the conversion of the store Büchler decided touse a floor cleaning system from HEFTER Cleantech.The TURNADO 55 PRO cleaning system is used toclean both the store and the salesroom. All surfaces must be completely free of dust, becausethis otherwise settles on the drinks cases and makesthe products appear "old" very quickly. It is alwaysbetter to remove this dirt with a scrubber suctioncleaner than to do it with a dry system. Wet cleaningdoes not whirl the dust up but binds it with thecleaning liquid and sucks it up immediately.Areas that are difficult to access and that alwayshad to be reworked by hand, for example cornersand niches, can now be mechanically cleaned veryeasily. The TURNADO 55's scrubber/suction head,which can be turned by up to 360°, enables easycleaning both between stored goods and in thetransport areas. Even when the machine is reversing,the scrubber/suction head always turns automaticallyinto the correct working direction.
The storeroom and the salesroom are cleaned daily.The main sources of dirt are customers coming in fromoutside, traces of tyre wear from the stackers andliquids from breakages.The TURNADO 55 is also ideal for quick cleaning "inbetween"! Because of the very low running noise customersare not disturbed and the salesrooms are veryquickly restored to a perfectly clean state.The excellent suction power ensures that the floordries immediately after wet cleaning and can be walkedon again safely.
